Leung Zoe

Miss Leung (Zoe) is a practicing counselling psychologist who completed her Master's degree of Social Science in Counselling Psychology at the Hong Kong Shue Yan University. Miss Leung has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and parents, and she excels in helping adolescents and college students with personal growth, interpersonal relationships, and career exploration.

Miss Leung is skilled in Person-Centered Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and she also incorporates creative methods such as expressive art creation and card games into the counselling process to appropriately address the unique qualities and needs of each service user, including those who may have difficulty expressing themselves verbally. This approach allows counselling services to go beyond traditional talk therapy.

Miss Leung is dedicated to promoting a humanistic and strength-based culture in schools and communities through workshops, talks, professional training, and research. She aims to use counselling to discover individual's uniqueness and help them realize their value.

Professional Experience

  • Counselling Psychologist at the Counselling and Research Center, provides psychological counselling services and school-based services to children, adolescents, college students, and adults. Services include individual and group counselling, on-site workshops, talks, professional training, which cover areas such as personal growth, emotional support, special educational needs, interpersonal relationships, career guidance, and psychological assessments.
  • Counselling Psychologist Trainee at mainstream schools, helped students with special educational needs (e.g., ASD, student with visual impairment), low learning motivation, emotional disorders (e.g., depression, anxiety), developmental issues (e.g., self-image, career planning), as well as addressing parent-child conflicts, communication difficulties, and family issues. She also conducted leadership training, parent workshops, and career planning groups, mainly focusing on students with special educational needs.
  • Counselling Psychologist Trainee at Society for Community Organization (SoCO) provided individual and family counselling, as well as child and parent groups, for individuals facing emotional and mental health challenges, including low-income families and individuals with suicidal tendency and PTSD.
  • Leader and mentor in churches for over 10 years, nurturing the growth and development of adolescents and providing comprehensive support in areas such as emotions, academics, interpersonal relationships, self-image, and life values. She has also trained various leaders and roles within the church community.
