Tiffany L.M.LUI  

Ms Lui is a compassionate and skilled Counselling Psychologist based in Hong Kong. She has a strong educational background, having completed her psychologist training in Hong Kong following a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Sussex and a Master's degree in Child Development from University College London.

With extensive experience working with children and adults from diverse cultural and racial backgrounds, Ms Lui is well-versed in addressing a variety of psychological and emotional issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment for developmental difficulties. She is proficient in various therapeutic modalities including psychodynamic therapy, person-centered therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy.

Ms Lui’s dedication to advancing mental health awareness is evident through her research contributions. She has published research on stigma in mental health and family relationships in international journals such as Sage and the National Autistic Society in the UK. Through her research and practice, she believes that self-awareness increases individuals’ self-understanding and self-acceptance, including their behaviours and feelings which as well improves mental health and interpersonal relationships. Ms Lui hopes to assist individuals to review their past experience, be more conscious of their life-choices and achieve their maximum potential.


Ms Lui has been supporting students facing a wide range of challenges and provide them with the necessary therapeutic guidance and career development. She has also collaborated with parents and teachers to enhance their understanding of mental health issues in children and adolescents, equipping them with valuable strategies to support the emotional well-being of young individuals.
